Watercolor on illustration board. My violets are not blue. They are definitely violet. This painting is done in a fun style that I developed myself. I begin with floating pools of color on the illustration board. After the paint has dried, I remove the paint from the highlight areas and add darker paint into the shadows, leavin an image that shows loose exciting color trapped in controlled images.
